Flight explores the relationship between movement, instinct and collective behaviour. Inspired by the patterns of birds in flight, the series examines how individual movements can form a larger, dynamic structure. Flocks appear to shift between order and unpredictability, creating rhythms that are both harmonious and tense. The paintings combine recognizable birds with abstract spaces, allowing the forms to dissolve into their surroundings and re-emerge as part of a larger composition. Flight becomes a metaphor for freedom, connection and survival, while also revealing the delicate balance between individual instinct and collective movement. The works invite reflection on how seemingly chaotic movements can generate unexpected forms of order.
